The speed enforcement application automatically detects the speed and numberplate of all the vehicles  passing through the filed of view of the system. When a vehicle travels over the speed limit the system notifies the driver by flashing up the speed limit sign and the registration number of the offending vehicle.

Once an offence is detected a evidence record containing the picture of the vehicle is recorded in a database at a remote location for further processing.
